Short description
RATD is a free roguelike tower defense where you don't place towers: you build one. Roll 28 random abilities into eight slots, upgrade them from rank F to EX and break the limit into Supers, while enemies circle your tower and harden every lap.
Long description
Enemies in RATD never walk past you. They orbit your single tower forever, and every lap they survive they take less damage and gain armor. If forty of them fill the ring, the run is over. Survival depends on the build: abilities are rolled at random ranks, scale with your tower's strength and combine into synergies such as stacking poison, chain lightning, true-damage execution and summoned armies.
Players choose Quick (50 waves), Classic (100) or Endless, seven difficulty speeds and two rulesets: Classic (pure random rolls) and Modern (pick one of three, merge items). A Daily Challenge gives every player the same waves each day. Up to eight friends can race the same waves on one Wi-Fi network with no accounts, and a built-in mod editor lets players draw pixel art, rebalance numbers and write new abilities.
RATD is a fan remake of the classic Random Ability Tower Defense custom map, rebuilt from scratch for phones. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
